J & A Legacy Adventures was created by 2 nurses with over 20+ years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
As family home providers we have seen the need to provide adventures to this community. We offer all inclusive community outings, day trips and vacations. We want to offer the chance to socialize and build connections that will last a lifetime.
Services
We provide safe, supportive, and enjoyable outings and travel experiences for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our goal is to help each individual explore new places, enjoy meaningful activities, build confidence, and participate more fully in the community.
Local Outings
Our local outings give individuals the opportunity to enjoy fun and engaging activities close to home. These may include trips to restaurants, movies, bowling, parks, shopping centers, museums, community events, sporting events, seasonal activities, and more.
Each outing is planned with the individual’s interests, comfort level, and support needs in mind.
Day Trips
We offer planned day trips for individuals who want to enjoy longer experiences outside their usual routine. Day trips may include visits to zoos, aquariums, beaches, amusement parks, fairs, festivals, sightseeing locations, nature areas, and other special destinations.
Our team helps coordinate the details so participants can enjoy the experience safely and comfortably.
Supported Vacations
For individuals who are ready for overnight or multi-day travel, we provide supported vacation experiences. These trips may include assistance with planning, transportation, lodging, meals, activities, supervision, and daily support throughout the trip.
Supported vacations are designed to give individuals the chance to experience travel, independence, relaxation, and adventure while giving families and caregivers peace of mind.
Personalized Support
Every person is different, so our services are planned around each individual’s abilities, preferences, routines, and support needs.
